The second book in the Anne of Green Gables series. Still a little too moralizing in some parts but still amusing overall. Anne is teaching at the local school in this volume- I think its highly unrealistic (I know this is fiction, but still) to try and pretend that any child would like a teacher more after receiving corporal punishment.. Not sure if I will end up finishing the whole series this time around.
