This was a book that I was reading as the Summer Reading Thing was getting underway. It was 3/3 in a trilogy and was a smart romance set in Scotland. All three books were easy reads and did not follow the usual romance formula which was cool, the women were independent and overcoming challenges with a dash of romance added to the mix. After this book, I tried Jenny Coglan’s “The Lovliest Chocolate Shop in Paris” but after much effort, thanks John, gave up 22% of the way through. This one was hard to follow as Coglan was moving between time periods and character stories.
